The hotel was in the middle of Arnes. Moreover, it was next to sheep farm set amongst rolling green hills with stunning mountain views, and the Hekla volcano.

The rooms at this guesthouse were spacious, modern, and clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. The views from the dining area were absolutely breathtaking, making meal times even more enjoyable. Additionally, the location of the guesthouse was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, such as Gullfoss and Geysir, without being surrounded by too many tourists.
One downside of my stay was that the dining area seemed to be exclusively reserved for guests who had ordered dinner at the guesthouse's restaurant. As a result, I was unable to use the dining area to enjoy my own food and was left eating on the floor of my room, which was not ideal.

I recently stayed at Guesthouse Geldingaholt for a few nights during my visit to the Golden Circle. The farmhouse setting was simply breathtaking, with beautiful scenery all around. The rooms were impeccably clean and felt brand new. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel like a part of the family. The breakfast buffet was top-notch, meeting hotel standards. I also loved that I could have a delicious dinner on-site. one of the best guesthouses I've experienced in terms of comfort, location, and value.
Would recommend this hotel.
